Anderson Lawler
Anderson Lawler (May 5, 1902 – April 6, 1959) was an American actor and producer in film and theatre who had a career lasting from the 1920s through the 1950s. He began on Broadway before moving to featured and supporting roles in Hollywood over a ten-year career at the very beginning of the talking-picture era. After the end of his acting career, Lawler moved to the production end of the film industry as well as becoming a producer of legitimate theater in the late 1940s and 1950s. Early life Lawler was born Sidney Lawler on May 5, 1902, in Russellville, Alabama, to Earnest H. and Dona C. Lawler. Prior to 1927, Lawler moved to New York City and changed his professional name to Anderson Lawler. Jordan Jeffrey-Joseph Lawlar (born July 17, 2002) is an American professional baseball shortstop for the Arizona Diamondbacks of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2023. Amateur career Lawlar began playing baseball around age five. He attended Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas in Dallas, Texas. He began playing varsity as a sophomore in 2019. As a sophomore, he batted .409 with five home runs, and in 2020, his junior season, he hit .485 with one home run and 13 RBIs over 12 games before the season ended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Traugott Lawler (born 8 March 1937) is a medievalist scholar, expert on William Langland, and an emeritus professor of English at Yale University, where he served as master of Ezra Stiles College and also as a lecturer in religion and literature. Biography Lawler graduated from Regis High School in 1954, and then attended the College of the Holy Cross, graduating with a B.A. in 1958, and the University of Wisconsin–Madison (M.A. 1962). Steve Gower (January 24, 1965 – September 2, 2021), better known by his ring name Steve "The Brawler" Lawler, was an American professional wrestler and trainer.
