Lavington Square Shopping Centre opened in 1979 in the Albury suburb of Lavington, New South Wales, Australia. Since opening the shopping centre has undergone several upgrades and name changes the most major upgrades to the centre were done after Centro bought the shopping centre in 1994. The shopping centre currently has 57 specialty retailers and 3 major retailers including Woolworths, and Big W.Centro.com.au

Lavington is the largest suburb of the city of Albury, New South Wales, located north of the Albury Central Business District. At the 2021 census, Lavington had a population of 13,073. Lavington is a mostly flat area near Nail Can Hill to the west, and is bordered by Thurgoona to the east, Hamilton Valley to the west, Springdale Heights to the north, and North Albury to the south. The T & G Mutual Life Assurance Society was an insurance company that operated in Australia and New Zealand. The 'T & G' stood for 'Temperance & General'. The company was founded in Victoria in 1876, emerging from the Assurance branch of the Independent Order of Rechabites with 132 policies. The branch was severed from the I.O.R. after six years of operations.
