Neta Lavi ( he, נטע לביא; born 25 August 1996) is an Israeli footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for J1 League club Gamba Osaka and the Israel national team. Toivo Veikko Vepa Lavi (23 April 1912, in Kotka – 22 May 1996, in Hamina) was a Finnish singer, songwriter and author. Lavi made his first album in the early 1950s and became popular again in the late 1960s. His best known hit was perhaps '' Jokainen ihminen on laulun arvoinen'' (1976). Shlomo Lavi ( he, שלמה לביא, born Shlomo Levkovich in 1882, died 23 July 1963) was a Zionist activist and politician. Early life Born in Plonsk in the Russian Empire (today in Poland), Lavi received a religious education. While growing up in Plonsk, Shlomo Lavi and David Grün (the future founding father of Israel, David Ben-Gurion) were both members of the Ezra youth movement and together taught Bible lessons and Hebrew to poor and orphaned children. Shimon Lavi ( he, שמעון לביא, also Shimon ibn Lavi, he, שמעון אבן לביא, anglicized as Simeon Labi, 1486–1585) was a Sephardi Hakham, kabbalist, physician, astronomer, and poet. He is credited with the founding of religious institutions and the revival of Torah study in Tripoli, Libya, in the mid-sixteenth century, where he served as spiritual leader and '' dayan'' (rabbinical court judge) for more than three decades. Mordechai Lavi (Hebrew: מרדכי לביא, born 1978) is an Israeli radio broadcaster and owner and general manager of the ''Kikar HaShabbat'' news website. Biography Lavi was born in 1978 in Jerusalem. Mordechai Lavi started his radio career at age 15 when he became interested in the budding Haredi pirate radio industry. He was fascinated and curious of how radio worked until he decided to search for one of these stations. He found the building where the clandestine Kol HaEmet radio station operated and tricked his way inside, and soon after began broadcasting music using a pseudonym.
