Laurie O'Brien (born February 16, 1951) is an American actress who started her career in Los Angeles in 1982 with her role in ''Timerider: The Adventure of Lyle Swann''. She is best known for voicing Baby Piggy on the 1980s Saturday morning cartoon ''Muppet Babies (1984 TV series), Jim Henson's Muppet Babies'' from 1984-1991 & the Children's Television Workshop, CTW animated series ''Cro (TV series), Cro'' as Ivana the mammoth. Miss Piggy is one of the Muppet characters known for her breakout role in Jim Henson's ''The Muppet Show''. Since her debut in 1976, Miss Piggy has been notable for her temperamental diva superstar personality, tendency to use French phrases in her speech, and practice of karate.
