Laurent Jacobelli
Laurent Jacobelli (; born 13 October 1969) is a French politician. In 2022, he was elected member of the National Assembly as a member of the National Rally for Moselle's 8th constituency. Early life Jacobelli was born on 13 October 1969 in Thiais. He is of Italian descent. He graduated from the ESSEC Business School in 1992 and from the ESCP in 1993. Career Jacobelli worked as an audiovisual manager for TV5 and served as head of TV5's programs from 2005 to 2008. Between 2009 and 2013 he worked as an executive for the Zodiak Kids Studios channel. He then founded his own television production company, Sunny Prod. He has also served as a reservist in the French Navy. Politics He joined Nicolas Dupont-Aignan in 2014 before signing up for regional elections in December 2015 in the Grand Est. On 19 May 2017, Jacobelli left France Arise. TV5Monde (), formerly known as TV5, is a French public television network, broadcasting several channels of French-language programming. It is an approved participant member of the European Broadcasting Union. The network is available across Europe on satellite via Astra 19.2°E and Eutelsat Hot Bird (13°E) (both free-to-air), online and via TVPlayer. Debout la France (, ; DLF) is a French political party founded by Nicolas Dupont-Aignan in 1999 under the name Debout la République (''Republic Arise'', DLR) as the "genuine Gaullist" branch of the Rally for the Republic (RPR). It was relaunched again in 2000 and 2002 and held its inaugural congress as an autonomous party in 2008. At the 2014 congress its name was changed to Debout la France. It is led by Nicolas Dupont-Aignan, who holds the party's only seat in the French National Assembly. 2015 French Regional Elections
Regional elections were held in France on 6 and 13 December 2015. At stake were the regional councils in metropolitan and overseas France including the Corsican Assembly and inaugural seats in the Assembly of French Guiana and Assembly of Martinique, all for a six-year term. The Departmental Council of Mayotte, which also exercises the powers of a region, was the only region not participating in this election, having already been renewed on 2 April 2015. There were 18 regional presidencies at stake, with 13 in mainland France and Corsica, as well as 5 overseas. Nicolas Dupont-Aignan (; born 7 March 1961), sometimes referred to by his initials NDA, is a French politician serving since 2008 as President of minor party Debout la France. He is its only member of the National Assembly, elected for Essonne's 8th constituency since 1997, and was previously Mayor of Yerres from 1995 to 2017.
