Lauren L. Williams (born 27 September 1994) is an American-born Saint Kitts and Nevis footballer who plays as a midfielder for the Saint Kitts and Nevis women's national team. Lauren Williams (born September 9, 1996) is a Canadian professional women's ice hockey player with the PWHPA. An alumna of the Wisconsin Badgers women's ice hockey program, Williams was the first pick overall in the 2018 CWHL Draft by the Blades. Playing career Williams won a gold medal with Team Ontario Blue at the 2012 Canadian U18 National Championships. University of Wisconsin Williams joined the University of Wisconsin for the 2014–15 season. In her senior year, Williams was named an alternate captain. CWHL Williams was selected by the Worcester Blades with the first pick overall in the 2018 CWHL Draft. As the first overall pick, the Blades pre-signed her for the 2018–19 season. Lauren Williams is an American journalist. She previously worked as an editor at ''The Root'' and ''Mother Jones'' and joined '' Vox'' in 2014. Williams left the organization in the role of editor-in-chief in 2021. She is the co-founder of the nonprofit news organization ''Capital B''. Career Williams joined ''The Root'' as an associate editor in 2010. She was promoted to deputy editor in December 2011 and worked in that role for 2.5 years. She later worked as a story editor at ''Mother Jones'' before she was hired at ''Vox''. Williams joined ''Vox'' as managing editor in 2014 two months after it launched. Lauren Kiyomi Williams (born 1978) is an American mathematician known for her work on cluster algebras, tropical geometry, algebraic combinatorics, amplituhedra, and the positive Grassmannian. She is Dwight Parker Robinson Professor of Mathematics at Harvard University.. Education Williams's father is an engineer; her mother is third-generation Japanese American. She grew up in Los Angeles, where her interest in mathematics was sparked by winning a fourth-grade mathematics contest.
