Ramón Laureano Jr. (born July 15, 1994) is a Dominican professional baseball outfielder for the Oakland Athletics of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2018. Gustavo Laureano is a Puerto Rican guitarist and composer. He is best known for being the lead singer of the band La Secta AllStar. Career As a songwriter and solo artist Laureano began his career as a songwriter, together with friend Mark Kilpatrick. In the 1990s, Laureano and Kilpatrick started writing and playing at clubs in Florida and Puerto Rico. At some point, they were discovered by Puerto Rican singer Ricky Martin, who recorded the song " Bombón de Azúcar", written by Laureano, on his 1995 album ''A Medio Vivir''. Ricky Laureano (born August 3, 1969) is a Puerto Rican musician most known for being the guitarist and one of the main songwriters of the Rock en Español band Fiel a la Vega. Biography Ricky Laureano met Tito Auger in the late 80s. Together they formed another band called ''Farenheitt''. The band recorded a single with the first writing collaborations of Auger and Laureano. Their first songs were titled "Maryann" and "I'd Been Looking". In 1990, Laureano and Auger decide to seriously pursue a career in music and they moved to the United States, specifically in New Jersey. Three months later, Auger's father died and he returned to Puerto Rico. Laureano stayed there and started playing with a band called ''Pure Myth''. Laureano Eleuterio Gómez Castro (20 February 1889 – 13 July 1965) was a Colombian politician and civil engineer who served as the 18th President of Colombia from 1950 to 1953. Tony Laureano (born January 25, 1973) is a heavy metal drummer originally from Puerto Rico. He has played for a number of metal bands (either as a full band member or a session drummer) including Dimmu Borgir, Nile, Angelcorpse, Malevolent Creation, God Dethroned, Acheron, Aurora Borealis, Belphegor, Nachtmystium, 1349 and Brujeria. He was the touring drummer for Dimmu Borgir during their performances at Ozzfest 2004, and Wacken Open Air in 2007 (a recording of the Ozzfest show was included with the 2005 reissue of ''Stormblåst''). Laureano Ibarra (born April 22, 1983) is an American former competitive pair skater. He placed sixth at the 2002 World Junior Championships with Tiffany Vise and competed on the Grand Prix series with Meeran Trombley. Personal life Ibarra was born in Miami, but raised in Venezuela. He began skating at age 11 after watching a Russian circus that included skating. Ibarra eventually moved back to Miami to train. His parents died when he was twelve and he was adopted by Dalilah Sappenfield and her husband.
