Laura Mañá
Laura Mañá Alvarenga (born 12 January 1968) is an actress, film director and screenwriter. She was born in Barcelona. As an actress, she has worked for directors such as Bigas Luna or Vicente Aranda. In 1997 she directed ''Paraules'', her first short film and in 2000 her first feature film, ''Sexo por compassion'', selected at the Sundance and Toronto film festivals and awarded at the Malaga Film Festival (Best Film and Audience Award) and at the Festival de Miami (Best Screenplay), among others. 14th Gaudí Awards
The 14th Gaudí Awards, organised by the Catalan Film Academy, will be presented at the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya, MNAC's Oval Room in Barcelona on 6 March 2022. History The nominations were read by Francesc Orella and María Molins at Casa Milà, La Pedrera's auditorium on 25 January 2022. ''Outlaws (2021 film), Outlaws'' grossed the highest number of nominations, 13. Only one film (''Mironins'') was nominated in the animation category, thus securing the award. Enric Cambray was tasked with the direction of the gala, whereas was charged with the production. ''Fotogramas'' is Spanish digital and print film magazine which has been in circulation since 1946. It is one of the early film magazines in Spain. History Founded in Barcelona, it was first published on 15 November 1946 by Antonio Nadal-Rodó and María Fernanda Gañán. On 5 February 1951, the magazine awarded their first Placa de San Juan Bosco award to actor Jesús Tordesillas for his performance in 1950 film ''Pequeñeces''. In the 1970s the magazine was part of the Nadal Group. New categories were added over time to the award which were renamed Fotogramas de Plata and in 2012 they absorbed the TP de Oro awards. In 2011, the magazine was acquired by Hearst Communications. In 2018, Hearst closed the editorial office in Barcelona in order to centralize editing efforts in Madrid.
