Laura Lapi
Laura Lapi (born 10 September 1970) is a former professional tennis player from Italy. Biography As a junior, Lapi was runner-up to Natalia Zvereva in the 1987 Orange Bowl and was also a girls' doubles finalist at the 1988 US Open. Lapi was a member of the Italy Fed Cup team in the 1988 competition. She won her first match, over Poland's Magdalena Feistel, to help Italy win the tie. In the second round, the Italians were beaten by home side Australia and Lapi lost her match in three sets to Nicole Provis. Her best performance on the WTA Tour was a semifinal appearance at Paris in 1988. She had a win over Jana Novotná at the 1988 German Open. In 1990, she received her best ranking of 66 in the world, after making the third round at Hilton Head, in a run which included beating Claudia Kohde-Kilsch. 1990 French Open – Women's Singles
Monica Seles defeated Steffi Graf in the final, 7–6(8–6), 6–4 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 1990 French Open. Aged 16 years and 6 months, she became the youngest major singles champion in the Open Era at the time, and remains the youngest French Open champion in history. Arantxa Sánchez Vicario was the defending champion, but she lost in the second round to Mercedes Paz. This tournament also saw a semifinal appearance for future world No. 1 Jennifer Capriati. Claudia Kohde-Kilsch
Claudia Kohde-Kilsch (''née'' Kohde; born 11 December 1963) is a former German tennis player and member of the Die Linke. During her tennis career, she won two women's doubles Grand Slam titles. She also won eight singles titles and a total of 25 doubles titles. Personal life Kohde-Kilsch was born Claudia Kohde in Saarbrücken, but added the hyphenated "-Kilsch" to her name which came from her adoptive father Jürgen Kilsch, an attorney. She has a younger sister, Katrin. She began playing tennis aged 5, and was soon a rising junior player. Kohde-Kilsch campaigned for Oskar Lafontaine of Die Linke at the 2012 Saarland state election. With the party winning over 16% of the vote, it was announced that as of 1 May 2012 she would become the new spokesperson for the Landtag parliamentary group. Suzanna Wibowo (born 25 November 1963) is a former professional tennis player from Indonesia. She is sometimes known by her maiden name Suzanna Anggarkusuma. She first represented Indonesia in the Fed Cup in 1981.
