Edward Laumann
Edward Otto Laumann (born August 31, 1938) is an American sociologist. He is the George Herbert Mead Distinguished Service Professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of Chicago. Laumann earned his Ph.D. in the Harvard Department of Social Relations in 1964, where he studied under George Homans, Talcott Parsons, and Harrison White. He has written extensively on social stratification, urban sociology, organizational sociology, health and aging, and is widely recognized as a pioneer in the areas of social network analysis and the sociology of sexuality. In 2013, he was elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. Biography Edward O. Laumann was born to Otto and Emalyn (Bauch) Laumann in 1938 near Youngstown, Ohio. Joseph Laumann
Joseph Laumann (born 31 August 1983) is a Moroccan-German football coach and former player. He was most recently caretaker manager of Barnsley. He remains at the club as a coach. Playing career Laumann was born in Marrakech, Morocco. He started his career at Oestrich-Iserlohn before moving to SpVgg Erkenschwick in 2004. He was then snapped up by Bundesliga club Schalke 04 in 2005, where he also played in the reserve. In 2006, Laumann moved to 2. Karl-Josef Laumann
Karl-Josef Laumann (born 11 July 1957) is a German politician of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU). Since 2017, he has been the State Minister of Labor, Health and Social Affairs of North Rhine-Westphalia, an office he previously held between 2005 and 2010. Background and personal life Laumann grew up with his parents and two brothers on a farm in Birgte, North Rhine-Westphalia. After attending school he was apprenticed as a machinist. After some military service, from 1978 to 1990 he gained experience at the Niemeyer company in Riesenbeck. As a member of IG Metall, he was for many years on the works council. Silken Suzette Laumann, (born November 14, 1964) is a Canadians, Canadian champion rowing (sport), rower. Life and career Laumann was born in Toronto Township, Ontario, Toronto Township, Ontario, now Mississauga. Starting in 1976, Laumann won a number of awards, including a gold medal in quadruple sculls at the U.S. Championships, two gold medals in single sculls at the Pan American Games, a bronze medal at the 1984 Summer Olympics, 1984 Olympics in the double sculls with her sister Daniele. Arthur Laumann was a German World War I flying ace who scored 28 victories in just over three months. He rose to become Air Attache to Greece and Yugoslavia during World War II, raising to a final rank of ''Luftwaffe'' ''Generalmajor''. Martin Laumann Ylven
Martin Laumann Ylven (born December 22, 1988 in Oslo, Norway) is a Norwegian professional ice hockey forward. He currently plays for Vålerenga of the Norwegian GET-ligaen. Ylven joined the Linköpings organization in 2004 and played on their junior teams for three seasons. He made his professional debut in the Elitserien during the 2006–07 season. He returned to Norway in 2007, playing the most games (25) with Stjernen Hockey of the top-level GET-ligaen, before rejoining Linköpings in 2008.
