Late Meeting
Late Meeting (russian: Поздняя встреча, Pozdnyaya vstrecha) is a 1979 romantic drama television film based on the novel ''Urgently Required Gray human hair'' by Yuri Nagibin. Plot The film takes place in Leningrad and Sverdlovsk, in 1970 and 1979. Arriving on a business trip from Sverdlovsk in the Lenfilm, engineer catapults Sergei Gushchin meets a young actress Natasha. She invites him to show Leningrad, but Gushchin and he knows the city - he served here during the war. They are looking for an excuse for further meetings, but he always finds a reason to not to meet with the woman who is many years younger than him and with whom he has fallen in love with. Natasha understands too that she loves this man, but Gushchin leaves, and not daring to associate with her fate. In the end he leaves and only returns to Leningrad nine years later and then he tries to find Natasha again. Mikhail Gluzsky
Mikhail Andreyevich Gluzsky (russian: Михаи́л Андре́евич Глу́зский; 20 November 1918 – 15 June 2001) was a Soviet and Russian theater and film actor. He starred in the 1972 film, ''Monologue'', which was entered into the 1973 Cannes Film Festival. An actor in more than 130 films between his film debut 1939 and death in 2001, he was named a People's Artist of the USSR in 1983. Biography Mikhail Andreyevich Gluzsky was born in Kiev in 1918. He worked at a factory before World War II and made his film debut as a Mosfilm acting studio student, appearing in diverse episodic roles in Grigori Roshal's ''The Oppenheim Family'', Konstantin Yudin's '' A Girl with a Personality'', and Vsevolod Pudovkin's '' Minin and Pozharsky'' in 1939. Sergey Nikolayevich Filippov (russian: Сергей Николаевич Филиппов, 24 June 1912— 19 April 1990) was a Soviet and Russian film and stage actor and comedian, best known for his parts in films ''Adventures of Korzinkina'' (1941), ''The Night Patrol'' (1957) and the adaptation of Ilf and Petrov's classic ''The Twelve Chairs'' (1971), which granted him the People's Artist of the RSFSR title in 1974. Biography Filippov was born in Saratov. His father was a factory turner, his mother a dressmaker. Expelled from school for bad behaviour (involving, reportedly, dangerous experiments in the cabinet of a chemistry teacher), he tried several jobs (a baker’s boy, a carpenter, a turner) before joining a ballet studio, which in 1929 sent him to Moscow for further education. Vladimir Mikhailovich Tatosov (russian: Влади́мир Миха́йлович Тато́сов; 10 May 1926 – 24 December 2021) was a Russian stage, television, voice and film actor. He had an honorary title People's Artist of the RSFSR (1991). Biography Tatosov was born on 10 May 1926, in Moscow into an Armenian family. He spent his childhood in Baku. In 1946, he graduated from the drama school at the Sverdlovsk Drama Theater. In 1947, he was admitted to the troupe of the Saint Petersburg Comedy Theatre, after a while he moved to the Baltic House Festival Theatre, Lenin's Komsomol Theatre. In 1963 he became an artist of the Tovstonogov Bolshoi Drama Theater, Gorky Bolshoi Drama Theater. In 1971 he moved to the Lenfilm film studio. He performed a lot in the variety, one year worked together with Arkady Raikin. In 2005, Tatosov published his autobiographical book ''And I Want to Fly''.
