Lastikman, originally spelled Lastik Man, is a fictional character and Filipino comics superhero created by Mars Ravelo and artist Mar T. Santana. Lastikman or the original spelling of Lastik Man debuted in comics format in ''Aliwan Komiks'' #56 (December 7, 1964). Based on DC Comics' Plastic Man, and/or Marvel's Mister Fantastic from Fantastic Four, Lastikman can also stretch and transform into many imaginable forms and shapes he desires. Lastikman (TV Series)
''Lastikman'' is a Philippine action dramedy fantaserye based on Mars Ravelo's comic book character of the same name. The show initially aired on ABS-CBN from September 24, 2007, to January 25, 2008, replacing ''Margarita''. Vhong Navarro played the title role. The story follows Miguel (Vhong Navarro) who transforms into a superhero who came from another planet. Early and personal life Donita Rose Cavett was born in Utah on 5 December 1974 and moved to the Philippines when she was five years old. ''Lastikman'' is a 2003 Filipino Superhero film, superhero film based on the comic book character Lastikman, written and directed by Tony Y. Reyes. Richard Velayo Abelardo (29 September 1902 – 27 August 1993) was a Filipino film director. Early life Abelardo was born to Juan Henson Abelardo, a painter, and Cecilia Velayo in San Miguel de Mayumo, Bulacan. At a young age, he boarded a ship destined for California. Upon arriving, he jumped ship and was later hired as a service painter in theaters with the Flag Company. He secured a painting job at Universal Studios. Proving himself at Universal, he was given work at Warner Brothers and MGM. Career He married an embroiderer from Malate, Salud (née Carmona), and had two daughters, Louise and Rita. In 1935, the whole family went back to the Philippines due to the Depression.
