Last Night In The Bittersweet
''Last Night in the Bittersweet'' is the fourth studio album by Scottish singer-songwriter Paolo Nutini, released on 1 July 2022 by Atlantic Records. Two songs from the album, "Through the Echoes" and "Lose It", were jointly released on 11 May 2022. ''Last Night in the Bittersweet'' is Nutini's first release in eight years, following his third studio album, ''Caustic Love'' (2014). Critical reception ''Last Night in Bittersweet'' received a score of 87 out of 100 on review aggregator Metacritic from four critics' reviews, indicating "universal acclaim". Writing in ''Mojo'', John Aizelwood gave this release 4 out of 5 stars, calling it "worth wallowing in". Commercial performance The album debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart dated 8 July 2022, and by midweek, was outselling the album at number two by a ratio of 4:1. Paolo Giovanni Nutini (born 9 January 1987) is a Scottish singer, songwriter and musician from Paisley, Renfrewshire, Paisley. Nutini's debut album, ''These Streets'' (2006), peaked at number three on the UK Albums Chart. Its follow-up, ''Sunny Side Up (Paolo Nutini album), Sunny Side Up'' (2009), debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart. Both albums have been Music recording sales certification, certified quintuple platinum by the British Phonographic Industry. Reuben Sutherland
Reuben Sutherland is a New Zealander who lives in Britain. He is a VJ, director and visual artist, specialising in mixing up live action and animation. Sutherland has made music videos for The Doves, Phoenix Foundation and Röyksopp (their single '' Happy Up Here''). He also created videos for the New Zealand-based independent record label Flying Nun Records. He has directed various TV commercials through the production company Joyrider. Together with noise artist Dan Hayhurst, Sutherland formed Sculpture, a visual and musical group which does live zoetrope-video art performances with a record player and a camera. Paul Savage (musician)
Paul Savage (born January 1971) is a Scottish musician and record producer, best known for being the drummer in the Scottish indie rock group The Delgados. Early life Savage was born in Glasgow in January 1971. As a child, he grew up in the United States before returning to Scotland in 1983. Career The Delgados At school in Motherwell he met Alun Woodward and Stewart Henderson. Early bands including these three were Megan's Frame and Bubblegum. Mastering, a form of audio post production, is the process of preparing and transferring recorded audio from a source containing the final mix to a data storage device (the master), the source from which all copies will be produced (via methods such as pressing, duplication or replication). In recent years digital masters have become usual, although analog masters—such as audio tapes—are still being used by the manufacturing industry, particularly by a few engineers who specialize in analog mastering. Matt Colton (born 30 March 1975) is an English mastering engineer and member of the mastering group of the Music Producers Guild. He has mastered recordings for artists such as Muse, Coldplay, James Blake, George Michael, Hot Chip, Gary Numan, Peter Gabriel, Flume and Erasure. Rob Moose (born 1982) is an American multi-instrumentalist, arranger, producer, conductor, and orchestrator. He primarily plays the violin, viola, and guitar. Early life and education Moose was born in 1982. He was raised in Windsor, Connecticut and learned piano and violin at The Hartt School. A twelve-string guitar (or 12-string guitar) is a steel-string guitar with 12 strings in six courses, which produces a thicker, more ringing tone than a standard six-string guitar. Typically, the strings of the lower four courses are tuned in octaves, with those of the upper two courses tuned in unison. The gap between the strings within each dual-string course is narrow, and the strings of each course are fretted and plucked as a single unit. The neck is wider, to accommodate the extra strings, and is similar to the width of a classical guitar neck. The sound, particularly on acoustic instruments, is fuller and more harmonically resonant than six-string instruments. Graffiti6 is a collaboration founded in London in 2009. Made up of Jamie Scott (songwriter and lead vocals) and Tommy "D" Danvers (producer and songwriter).
