Last Dinosaurs
Last Dinosaurs are an Australian indie rock band from Brisbane, Queensland., Australia who formed in 2007. They band consists of Sean Caskey (Lead/Backup Vocals, Rhythm/Lead guitar), Lachlan Caskey (Lead/Backup vocals, Lead/Rhythm guitar), Danjuro Koyama (Drums) and Michael Sloane (Bass). Koyama and the Caskey brothers are all of Japanese descent, and the band have toured and frequently make visits to Japan. The band formed with Sean and Dan upon meeting each other during High School and realising they had an equal passion for music they first formed a band called "The Cairos" (who included Alistar Richardson/Zefereli, who was their touring drummer during 2011/2012) before writing music for Last Dinosaurs. Later on Lachlan and Sam Gethin-Jones joined, their bassist who stayed until 2013, who was replaced by Michael Sloane. Falls Music & Arts Festival (commonly known as Falls) is a multi-day music festival held annually in Lorne (Victoria), Marion Bay (Tasmania), Byron Bay (New South Wales) and Fremantle (Western Australia), Australia over the New Year's Eve and January period. Splendour in the Grass (commonly referred to as Splendour) is an annual Australian music festival held at the North Byron Parklands in Yelgun, New South Wales. Since its inauguration, the festival has also been held in various locations near Byron Bay, New South Wales, and Woodford, Queensland. Zan Rowe
Susanna "Zan" Rowe is an Australian radio and television presenter. she works for ABC digital radio station Double J. Early life Rowe grew up in Melbourne. She attended university at RMIT University, majoring in radio and cinema. Career Radio Rowe started out at SRA FM in 1996 (now SYN Radio) on a show called ''Run with the Hunted'', before moving to the Monday drive shift on 3RRR 102.7FM presenting ''Transit Lounge'' from 2002–2004. In 2005, she joined Triple J as weekend lunch host. In 2006, she became host of ''Mornings'' on Triple J, broadcasting weekdays between 9am and 12pm. Triple J (stylised in all lowercase) is a government-funded, national Australian radio station intended to appeal to listeners of alternative music, which began broadcasting in January 1975. The station also places a greater emphasis on broadcasting Australian content compared to commercial stations. Triple J is a division of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.
