Lasse Hoile
Lasse Hoile (born 1973 in Aarhus, Denmark) is a Danish artist, photographer and filmmaker. He has collaborated with musician Steven Wilson and his projects Porcupine Tree and Blackfield. He has also designed live visuals for US progressive metal band Dream Theater. In the mid-1990s he was the vocalist for Danish death metal band Panzerchrist. Hoile started working as an editor and producing short films in 1993. Five years later in 1998, he took up photography as a hobby. Since then, he has worked on documentaries, commercials, and short films. Hoile directed videos and creating a number of album sleeves for Porcupine Tree following the release of ''In Absentia'' in 2002. Later in 2005, he directed the recording of Porcupine Tree's first live performance DVD '' Arriving Somewhere...'', which took place at Park West, Chicago. He directed Porcupine Tree's music video for the song "Fear of a Blank Planet" and has also worked on cover art for Steven Wilson's solo work. Hoile de ... Opeth
Opeth is a Swedish progressive metal/rock band from Stockholm, formed in 1990 by lead vocalist David Isberg. The group has been through several personnel changes, including the replacement of every original member; notably Isberg in 1992. Mikael Åkerfeldt has been Opeth's frontman and primary songwriter since Isberg's departure. Opeth has consistently incorporated progressive, folk, blues, classical, and jazz influences into its usually lengthy compositions, as well as strong influences from death metal, especially in their early works. Many songs include acoustic guitar passages and strong dynamic shifts, as well as death growls. Opeth is also well known for their incorporation of Mellotrons in their work. The band rarely made live appearances supporting their first four albums, but since conducting their first world tour after the 2001 release of ''Blackwater Park'', they have led several major world tours.
