Larusso (born Laetitia Serero; 11 October 1979) is a French singer. She won the second edition of '' The Masked Singer France'' in 2020. She popularized songs such as "Tu m'oublieras" and "Je survivrai", the latter sung by Régine in the 1980s, which is a French adaptation of " I Will Survive" by Gloria Gaynor. ''Mask Singer'' is a French reality television series based on the format of the South Korean television game show series ''King of Mask Singer'' by Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation. Run by TF1 Group, ''Mask Singer'' is a singing competition between celebrities donning elaborate costumes and face coverings to conceal their identity from the audience, judges and other contestants. The first season of ''Mask Singer'' premiered 8 November 2019. Hosted by Camille Combal, it featured TV Host and producer Alessandra Sublet, singer Anggun as well as humorists Kev Adams and Jarry on the judging panel. "Tu m'oublieras" ( en, "You Will Forget Me") is a song by French singer Larusso. It was the second single from her debut album, ''Simplement'', and was released on 26 October 1998. It remains Larusso's most successful single, topping the chart of France and the Wallonia region of Belgium. Song information The song was originally performed by Irma Jackson in 1979 (as "You Will Forget"), then by Régine in 1980, then by Jeane Manson, under the title "Tu oublieras". Régine Zylberberg (born Rachelle Zylberberg; 26 December 1929 – 1 May 2022), often known mononymously as Régine, was a Belgian-born French singer and nightclub impresario. She dubbed herself the "Queen of the Night". Gloria Gaynor ( née Fowles; born September 7, 1943) is an American singer, best known for the disco era hits "I Will Survive" (1978), " Let Me Know (I Have a Right)" (1979), " I Am What I Am" (1983), and her version of "Never Can Say Goodbye" (1974). Early life Gaynor was born Gloria Fowles in Newark, New Jersey, to Daniel Fowles and Queenie Mae Proctor. Her grandmother lived nearby and was involved in her upbringing.
