Lars Tiffany
Lars Tiffany (born 1968) is an American lacrosse coach. He is the current head coach of the Virginia Cavaliers men's lacrosse program at the University of Virginia. Tiffany has led Virginia to back-to-back national titles (the 2019 NCAA Division I Men's Lacrosse Championship, 2019 NCAA Lacrosse Championship and the 2021 NCAA Division I Men's Lacrosse Championship, 2021 NCAA Lacrosse Championship, after the 2020 tournament was cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic, COVID-19). He was named 2019 ACC Coach of the Year. As with his predecessor Dom Starsia, Tiffany came to Virginia after coaching his ''alma mater'' at Brown Bears men's lacrosse, Brown. Stony Brook Seawolves Men's Lacrosse
The Stony Brook Seawolves men's lacrosse team represents Stony Brook University in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I men's college lacrosse. The Seawolves are led by Anthony Gilardi, who became the team's head coach prior to the 2020 season after eight seasons at Towson. Stony Brook currently competes in the Colonial Athletic Association and plays its home games on Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium. Although a club team has existed since 1978, Stony Brook established a Division III program in 1983. Stony Brook entered Division I status in 1988. The Virginia Cavaliers men's lacrosse team represents the University of Virginia in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I men's lacrosse. The Cavaliers compete in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and plays home games at Klöckner Stadium, or occasionally Turf Field or Scott Stadium, in Charlottesville, Virginia. Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) is an American professional field lacrosse league, composed of 8 teams. The league's inaugural season debuted on June 1, 2019, and included a 14-week tour-based schedule taking place in 12 major-market cities. The league was founded by the American professional lacrosse player Paul Rabil and his brother Mike Rabil. Investors include The Chernin Group, The Raine Group and Joe Tsai. The Washington and Lee Generals are the athletic teams that represent Washington and Lee University, located in Lexington, Virginia, in NCAA Division III intercollegiate sports. The Generals compete as members of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference for all sports except wrestling, which competes in the Centennial Conference.
