Lars Storhaug (born 28 September 1935) is a Norwegian farmer and politician. Biography Storhaug was born in Klepp to farmers Lars Storhaug Sr. (1898–1977) and Borghild née Skadsem (1914–2000). He was elected representative to the Storting from Rogaland for the period 1985–1989 for the Conservative Party. Klepp
Klepp is a municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Jæren. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Kleppe. Other villages in Klepp include Klepp stasjon, Orre, Orstad, Pollestad, Verdalen, and Voll. Klepp is a flat and open agricultural landscape. The highest point, ''Tinghaug'', is at above sea level. There are long stretches of sand beaches along the North Sea coastline in the west. The municipality is the 324th largest by area out of the 356 municipalities in Norway. Klepp is the 63rd most populous municipality in Norway with a population of 20,163. The municipality's population density is and its population has increased by 13.6% over the previous 10-year period. Bjørg Storhaug (born 9 May 1962) is a retired Norwegian football player who played in the 1987 UEFA Women's Championship. Bjørg Storhaug retired from football in 1988 to be a farmer full time. International career Storhaug was also part of the Norwegian team at the 1987 European Championships. Bjørg Storhaug represented Norway 25 times. Ã…ge Storhaug (5 April 1938 – 18 April 2012) was a Norwegian gymnast who competed from the late 1950s to the early 1970s. He was born in Klepp and represented the club Klepp IL. He participated at the 1960 Summer Olympics and at the 1964 Summer Olympics. He won several Norwegian championships and Nordic championships. He coached the Norwegian national gymnastics team from 1973 to 1983. He also participated in athletics, and had decent results in the pole vault and hurdles. He died in 2012. The Storting ( no, Stortinget ) (lit. the Great Thing) is the supreme legislature of Norway, established in 1814 by the Constitution of Norway. It is located in Oslo. Knut Helle
Knut Helle (19 December 1930 – 27 June 2015) was a Norwegian historian. A professor at the University of Bergen from 1973 to 2000, he specialized in the late medieval history of Norway. He has contributed to several large works. Early life, education and marriage He was born in Larvik as the son of school inspector Hermann Olai Helle (1893–1973) and teacher Berta Marie Malm (1906–1991).
