Lars Sigurd Sunnanå
Lars Sigurd Sunnanå (born 28 May 1946) is a Norwegian journalist. Personal life Sunnanå was born in Karmøy and grew up in Porsgrunn. He is a nephew of Klaus Sunnanå. He is married and his son Lars Magne Sunnanå is a former local politician (Conservative Party of Norway, Conservative) in Bærum, where the family lives. Lars Sigurd Sunnanå was himself a member of the Norwegian Young Conservatives in his youth. He is also a freemason. Career He worked in ''Varden (newspaper), Varden'' and ''Aftenposten'' in his early career. He was awarded the Narvesen Prize in 1971. In 1972 he was hired by Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation. He was their Middle East correspondent from 1999 to 2003, and in 2010, he began as NRK's Africa correspondent based in Nairobi. His tenure ended in 2013. In 2004 he wrote the book ''Saddams fortrolige'' together with Saddam Hussein's physician Ala Bashir. Karmøy is a municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. It is southwest of the town of Haugesund in the traditional district of Haugaland. Christine Præsttun (3 May 1971 – 8 January 2020) was a Norwegian television presenter and correspondent. She studied sociology at the University of Oslo, graduating in 2001 with a master's thesis about identity and modernity in Hong Kong. Odd Karsten Tveit (born 17 December 1945) is a Norwegian journalist, writer and economist. His speciality is the Middle East, a subject on which he has written several books. Tveit has been a foreign correspondent for the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK) in the Middle East through three periods, from 1979 to 1983, from 1990 to 1994, and from 2003 to 2007. Fritz Nilsen
Fritz Nilsen (22 July 1939 – 30 November 2000) was a Norwegian journalist. He was born in Sandnessjøen, and studied literature at the University of Oslo and the University of Bergen. He was hired in the 1960s as a secretary for the Socialist People's Party parliamentary group. He then worked in the Norwegian News Agency, and in 1971 he was hired in the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation. He was their correspondent in East Asia, stationed in Singapore from 1979 to 1983. He worked two years in Norway before becoming correspondent in Beijing. He reported from the Tiananmen Square protests of 1989. He was later the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation's Middle East correspondent from 1994 to 1999. The headquarters were in Cairo and Amman. Asbjørn Larsen (1 August 1936 – 26 January 2025) was a Norwegian economist and industrial leader. Life and career Larsen was born in Porsgrunn on 1 August 1936. Sverre Mitsem (1907–2004) was a Norwegian journalist, newspaper editor and article writer. He is known as editor-in-chief of ''Tønsbergs Blad'' from 1954 to 1977 (until 1963 joint with Realph Norland) and for the column "SORRY" in ''Aftenposten'', which he wrote from 1946 to 1996. BIBSYS
BIBSYS is an administrative agency set up and organized by the Ministry of Education and Research (Norway), Ministry of Education and Research in Norway. They provide the exchange, storage and retrieval of data pertaining to research, teaching and learning – historically metadata related to library resources.
