Lars Frederiksen
Lars Erik Frederiksen (born Lars Erik Dapello, August 30, 1971) is an American musician and record producer best known as a guitarist and vocalist for the punk rock band Rancid (band), Rancid, as well as the frontman of Lars Frederiksen and the Bastards and Oi! the boat records, the Old Firm Casuals. In addition, he currently plays guitar in Oxley's Midnight Runners, Stomper 98, and the Last Resort. He was also briefly a member of the UK Subs in 1991. Frederiksen joined Rancid in 1993 after the band was searching for a second guitar player and was present on their second album, ''Let's Go (Rancid album), Let's Go''. He has produced albums for bands such as Dropkick Murphys, Agnostic Front, The Business (band), the Business, Swingin Utters, Swingin' Utters, Marky Ramone and the Intruders, Anti-Heros (band), Anti-Heros, Pressure Point, and The Forgotten (band), the Forgotten, among others. Anti-Heros (band)
Anti-Heros are an American Oi!/street punk band formed in 1984 in Georgia, United States. They took a hiatus from 1989 to 1993, but continue to record and play concerts now. The original lineup consisted of Mark Noah (vocals), Mike Jones (bass), Tim Spier (drums) and Joe Winograd (guitar). Phil Solomon replaced Spier on the drums in 1988. The band released two records on Link Records in the late 1980s, ''That's Right!'' (produced by John Blackwell) in 1987 and ''Don't Tread on Me'' (produced by John Blackwell) in 1988. Link manager Mark Brennan never paid the band for the recordings, which the band members paid to produce. In February 1997, longtime drummer Phil Solomon left and the band brought on Mark McClusky. ''Indestructible'' is the sixth studio album by the American punk rock band Rancid. It was produced by Brett Gurewitz (Bad Religion) and released by Hellcat Records with distribution through Warner Bros. Records on August 19, 2003. Despite critical acclaim, the band was criticized by some of its fans for ''Indestructibles "poppier" sound on some of its tracks. It debuted at number 15 on the charts, selling 51,000 copies in its first week. It was Rancid's highest debut at the time, which was surpassed six years later with their 2009 album, '' Let the Dominoes Fall''. Cock Sparrer () is an English punk rock band formed in 1972 in the East End of London.
