Lars Theodor Jonsson (10 November 1903 – 11 October 1998) was a Swedish cross-country skier. He was two-times Swedish champion, in the 15 km in 1933 and the 30 km in 1935. Strömsund Municipality (, ) is a municipality in Jämtland County in northern Sweden. Its seat is located in Strömsund. The nearest larger city is Östersund, the provincial capital of Jämtland, which is located approximately 100 km to the south. History Strömsund Municipality was formed in 1974 through the amalgamation of the former municipalities of Fjällsjö, Frostviken, Hammerdal and Ström. The most populous locality in the area, Strömsund, was chosen as administrative centre, and it also gave its name to the new entity. Geography With an area of roughly 12,000 km² (4,500 sq mi), it is the sixth largest in Sweden, and one of the most sparsely populated. The FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 1934 took place on February 20–25, 1934 in Sollefteå, Sweden. Men's cross country 18 km February 22, 1934 50 km February 24, 1934 4 × 10 km relay February 25, 1934 Germany's silver was the first for the nation at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships. While battling for the silver medal, Sweden's Arthur Häggblad and Norway's Oddbjørn Hagen got off course during their final leg and lost about 10 minutes. They were both passed by Germany, and Häggblad beat Hagen at the finish line for the bronze medal.
