Larry Anderson (actor)
Larry Anderson (born September 22, 1952) is an American actor and magician. Early work He originally started as an assistant to magician Mark Wilson in 1973, and was immediately put to work on the set of '' The Magician'' (starring Bill Bixby), assisting Wilson as the show's magic coordinator. He has since appeared in several television series and films, and is also known for his uncredited role as Michael Long in the pilot episode '' Knight of the Phoenix'' of the 1980s hit TV series '' Knight Rider''. His voice was overdubbed by David Hasselhoff who, when the character was shot in the face and given plastic surgery, took over the role for the remainder of the series. Lawrence Dennis Anderson (born December 3, 1952) is a former Major League Baseball pitcher. He played parts of three seasons for the Chicago White Sox and Milwaukee Brewers. Lawrence Andrew Anderson (born September 25, 1956) is a former professional American football player who played cornerback and kick returner for seven seasons for the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Baltimore/Indianapolis Colts. Anderson started his football career at Neville High School in Monroe, Louisiana, where he played running back and defensive back, while also returning kicks and punts, and was a member of the school's 1972 state championship team. He went on play college football at Louisiana Tech University. Joining the team as a walk on, he did not play in any games until his senior season in 1977. That year, Anderson was the nation's second-leading punt returner, with 44 punt returns for 441 yards and two touchdowns. He also returned 14 kickoffs for 435 yards (an average of 31.5 yards per return) and two scores, and intercepted five passes on defense. Larry Anderson is an American basketball coach for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Anderson was born in Macon, Mississippi, one of fourteen full brothers and sisters, in addition to six half brothers and sisters. He attended Noxubee County High School, then East Mississippi Community College in Scooba, Mississippi and Rust College in Holly Springs, Mississippi. After graduating from Rust, he stayed for seven years, initially serving as director of student activities and assistant basketball coach, and later as associate athletic director. In 1995, he became the head coach of the MIT Engineers Massachusetts Institute of Technology's intercollegiate sports teams, called the MIT Engineers, compete mostly in NCAA Division III. Benton MacKaye ( ; March 6, 1879 – December 11, 1975) was an American forester, planner and conservationist. He was born in Stamford, Connecticut; his father was actor and dramatist Steele MacKaye. After studying forestry at Harvard University (B.A., 1900; M.A. School of Forestry, 1905), Benton later taught there for several years. He joined a number of Federal bureaus and agencies, including the U.S. Forest Service, the Tennessee Valley Authority, and the U.S. Department of Labor; he was also a member of the Technical Alliance where he participated in the ''Energy Survey of North America''.
