''Lara and the Beat'' is a 2018 Nigerian drama film, directed by Tosin Coker, starring Seyi Shay, Vector, Somkele Iyamah, Wale Ojo, Sharon Ooja, Shaffy Bello and Uche Jombo. The film premiered on 8 July 2018. Lara and the Beat is a coming of age story about the beautiful Giwa Sisters who are caught in the center of a financial scandal with their late parents media empire. Seyi Shay
Deborah Oluwaseyi Joshua (born Oluwaseyi Joshua; 21 December 1985), professionally known as Seyi Shay (pronounced Shay-yee Shay), is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and actress. She wrote and produced three songs for the soundtrack to Konami's video game '' Crime Life: Gang Wars'' (2005). She also wrote "You Will See", a song that was included on Melanie C's third studio album ''Beautiful Intentions'' (2005). Shay wrote "White Lies", a song from Chip's ''Transition'' album. Ada Afoluwake Ogunkeye (born November 25, 1986) known professionally as Folu Storms, is a Nigerian radio host and presenter, actress, voice-over artist, and television host. Early life Storms was born in Aguda, Surulere, Lagos state.
