	Ed Stroud Edwin Marvin Stroud (October 31, 1939 – July 2, 2012) was an American professional baseball player. An outfielder, he played in the Major Leagues from 1966–1971 for the Chicago White Sox and Washington Senators. He was signed by the Chicago White Sox as an undrafted free agent in 1963. Born in Lapine, Alabama on October 31, 1939, Stroud lived in Warren, Ohio for about 70 years. He was a 1958 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School who also served in the United States Army.
