Langhorns
Langhorns is an instrumental surf music band from Lund, Sweden. The members are: * Michael Sellers - guitar (Sellars was previously in Swedish band The Sinners) * Martin Berglund - bass * Rikard Swardh - drums * Erik Wesser - organ The band is strongly influenced by surf music and Latin music. Some of their music has been used on Nickelodeon's cartoon ''SpongeBob SquarePants'' and on the TV series '' Sex and the City''. They are also featured in the Swedish horror film Frostbiten. Bad Taste Records
Bad Taste Records is a record label based in Lund, Sweden. The record label was one of the first labels to establish in the Swedish punk rock and punk/hardcore scene in the early 1990s, together with Burning Heart Records. The name of the label originated from the movie ''Bad Taste'' by Peter Jackson. The first release was put out in 1994, the EP ''Skate to Hell'' by Satanic Surfers. For a couple of years, they worked together with the record shop Love Your Records. Today, the label has somewhat diversified, drifting from their original exclusive punk/hardcore orientation towards a more rock/emo/rap orientation. Frostbiten
''Frostbite'' ( sv, Frostbiten) is a Swedish Comedy film, comedy horror film from 2006 directed by Anders Banke. As well as the horror theme, various parts also have pure humour elements, and it is considered a horror/comedy by some newspapers that rated it. The film takes place in a small town in northern Sweden during midwinter, making the environment perfect for vampires—because there are no sunny hours during the dark and cold Nordic winter days. Surf Music
Surf music (or surf rock, surf pop, or surf guitar) is a genre of rock music associated with surf culture, particularly as found in Southern California. It was especially popular from 1958 to 1964 in two major forms. The first is instrumental surf, distinguished by reverb-heavy electric guitars played to evoke the sound of crashing waves, largely pioneered by Dick Dale and the Del-Tones. The second is vocal surf, which took elements of the original surf sound and added vocal harmonies, a movement led by the Beach Boys. Dick Dale developed the surf sound from instrumental rock, where he added Middle Eastern and Mexican influences, a spring reverb, and rapid alternate picking characteristics.
