Mark Langhammer is a Northern Irish trade unionist, employed as Director of the Association of Teachers and Lecturers and elected onto the Northern Ireland Committee of the Irish Congress of Trade Unions in 2008, being re-elected in 2010. A former politician in Northern Ireland, he was previously a prominent northern-based member of the Irish Labour Party. Arthur Langhammer
Arthur Langhammer (July 6, 1854 – July 4, 1901) was a German Impressionist painter and illustrator best known for rural genre paintings. Biography Arthur Langhammer was born in Lützen, Germany. He studied art first at the Leipzig Art Academy and then at the Munich Art Academy, graduating in 1882. He initially earned his living as an illustrator. In 1888 his friend Adolf Hölzel moved to the village of Dachau, Germany, and Langhammer began spending time there as well. In 1897, Hölzel, Langhammer and Ludwig Dill founded the "New Dachau" art school, which became the keystone of the burgeoning Dachau art colony. In 1898, the new colony achieved national recognition when Hölzel, Dill, and Langhammer mounted a joint exhibition in Berlin under the title "The Dachauer". Langhammer moved to Dachau permanently in 1900. Langhammer specialized in idealized rural genre paintings of people working in the fields or at home. Fred H. Langhammer (born January 13, 1944) is Chairman, Global Affairs, of The Estée Lauder Companies Inc., a manufacturer and marketer of cosmetics products. Prior to being named Chairman, Global Affairs, Mr. Langhammer was chief executive officer of The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. from 2000 to 2004, President from 1995 to 2004 and chief operating officer from 1985 through 1999. Mr. Langhammer joined The Estée Lauder Companies in 1975 as President of its operations in Japan. In 1982, he was appointed Managing Director of its operations in Germany. He is also a director of The Shinsei Bank Limited. Mr. Langhammer has been a Director of The Walt Disney Company since 2005. Jakub Langhammer (born August 17, 1984) is a Czech professional ice hockey player. He is current a free agent having last played for HK Martin of the Slovak 1. Liga. Before turning professional, Langhammer played for two seasons in the Western Hockey League of the Spokane Chiefs from 2002 to 2004.
