Bianca Langham-Pritchard (born 29 May 1975) is an Australian field hockey international. She played in the 1998 World Cup-winning Australian team. Born in Hobart, Tasmania, Langham-Pritchard was first selected in the Australian national women's team, the Hockeyroos in November 1994. She was a member of the 1996 and 2000 Olympic Training Squads, but did not make the final team. In 1998, she won gold at both the World Cup and Commonwealth Games. Background The Langham Estate originates from an entity first established in 1925 to manage a holding of 40 acres of land purchased from the Howard de Walden Estate in central London. Nat Langham (20 May 1820 – 1 September 1871) was an English middleweight Bare-knuckle boxing, bare-knuckle prize fighter. He had the distinction of being the only person ever to beat Thomas Sayers while defending the English middleweight championship. Langham first took the championship by defeating George Gutteridge on 23 November 1846. Langham was considered a scientific boxer, and known for using sharp, well-timed blows, particularly with his left, though he was right handed. Michael Langham
Michael Seymour Langham (22 August 1919 – 15 January 2011) was an English director and actor, who spent much of his career living and working in Canada and the United States. He was educated at Radley College and studied law at the University of London before enlisting in the British Army in 1939. After spending five years as a prisoner of war, Langham set his sights on the theatre and led several repertory theatres in the UK including Coventry (1946–1948), Birmingham (1948–1950) and Glasgow (1953–1954). Langham was the second artistic director at the Stratford Festival in Canada from 1956 to 1967, and he directed 38 productions over a 53 year association with Stratford. He was the third artistic director of the Guthrie Theater from 1971 to 1977. He was also director of the Juilliard School from 1979 to 1982, and again from 1987 to 1992. Franklin Langham
Franklin Langham (born May 8, 1968) is an American professional golfer. Langham was born in Thomson, Georgia. He played golf at the University of Georgia from 1989 to 1991 and was named an All-American in 1991. He played on the 1991 Walker Cup team. Langham played on the PGA Tour in 1996, 1998-2002 and 2005 and on the Nationwide Tour in 1993-95, 1997, 2003–04 and 2006–08. He has three victories on the Nationwide Tour and has had finished runner-up on four occasions in PGA Tour events. He best finish on the PGA Tour money list was 26th in 2000.
