Christian Lous Lange (17 September 1869 – 11 December 1938) was a Norwegian historian, teacher, and political scientist. He was one of the world's foremost exponents of the theory and practice of internationalism. Early life and education He was born in Stavanger; his father was a military engineer and he was the grandson of the historian Christian C. A. Lange. He graduated from secondary school in 1887 and proceeded to travel and study history, English, and French at the University of Oslo, from which he received the cand. philol. degree in 1893. André Lange (; born 28 June 1973) is a retired German bobsledder and the most successful bob pilot of all time. Competing at the 2002, 2006 and 2010 Winter Olympics, he has won four gold and one silver medals. Lange originally started his sledding career as a luger, taking up bobsleigh in 1993. Åke Algot Lange (born Åke Mortimer Lange; 10 May 1884 – 21 February 1961) was a Swedish-American explorer who wrote books about the Amazon. Biography Lange was born in Stockholm as Åke Mortimer Lange, but later he took his father's name as his middle name. His parents were the opera singer Algot Lange and the pianist and author Ina Lange Forstén. He collected 2,000 pottery fragments from Pacoval Island in Lake Arary on Marajo Island, which were acquired by the American Museum of Natural History in 1915. Alex Craig Lange (born October 2, 1995) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Detroit Tigers of Major League baseball (MLB).
