Landu Leko
Landu Leko is an Indonesian district (''kecamatan'') in the Rote Ndao Regency, East Nusa Tenggara province. It was split off from the district Rote Timur in 2012. Geography Landu Leko is located in the northeast of the island Roti. To the south lies the district Rote Timur. The district contains the Tapuafu peninsula, the eastern islands of Usu, Nusa Manupui and Boti, and the northern island Nusa Bibi, which lies in the Strait of Roti. East Nusa Tenggara
East Nusa Tenggara ( id, Nusa Tenggara Timur – NTT; pt, Sonda Oriental) is the southernmost province of Indonesia. It comprises the eastern portion of the Lesser Sunda Islands, facing the Indian Ocean in the south and the Flores Sea in the north. Rote Ndao Regency is a regency in East Nusa Tenggara province of Indonesia, consisting primarily of the island of Rote, situated south-west of the western tip of West Timor with an area of 978.54 km2, together with minor offshore islands including Usu (19.4 km2), Ndana (13.83 km2), Ndao, Landu and Nuse; the total area including the minor offshore islands is 1,280.10 km2. Strait Of Roti
A strait is an oceanic landform connecting two seas or two other large areas of water. The surface water generally flows at the same elevation on both sides and through the strait in either direction. Most commonly, it is a narrow ocean channel that lies between two land masses.
