Lance Guidry
Lance Guidry (born March 25, 1971) is an American football coach and former player. He is the defensive coordinator for the Tulane Green Wave football program. Guidry served as the head football coach at McNeese State University from 2016 to 2018. He was also the interim head football coach at Miami University for one game in 2010 and at Western Kentucky University for one game in 2012. Guidry played college football as a defensive back at McNeese State from 1990 to 1993. He was a four-year starter, a Team Captain and was also a two-time All-Southland Conference selection. Guidry ranks 17th on the McNeese all-time tackle leader board and also ranks 10th in interceptions. Generally, the defensive coordinator, the offensive coordinator and the special teams coordinator represent the second level of a team's coaching structure, with the head coach being the first level. 2010 Miami RedHawks Football Team
The 2010 Miami RedHawks football team represented Miami University during the 2010 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The RedHawks, led by second-year head coach Michael Haywood and interim head coach Lance Guidry during their bowl game, competed in the East Division of the Mid-American Conference and played their home games at Yager Stadium. They finished the season 10–4, 7–1 in MAC play and were East Division champions. They advanced to the MAC Championship where they defeated Northern Illinois 26–21 to become MAC champions. They were invited to the GoDaddy.com Bowl where they defeated Middle Tennessee 35–21. Mid-American Conference
The Mid-American Conference (MAC) is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I collegiate athletic conference with a membership base in the Great Lakes region that stretches from Western New York to Illinois. Chris Hampton
Chris Hampton is an American college football coach who currently serves as the co-defensive coordinator at the University of Oregon. He previously was the defensive coordinator at Tulane University. Playing career Hampton was a safety for South Carolina from 2004 to 2007 where he started for two seasons. He won the Harold White Award for the highest GPA on the team. Coaching career Hampton began his coaching career in 2008 as a graduate assistant at Arkansas State. In 2011 he became the defensive backs coach at Central Arkansas before taking the same job the following year at McNeese State. Charles Huff (American Football)
Charles Huff Jr. (born April 26, 1983) is an American football coach who is currently the head football coach at Marshall University. Prior to Marshall, he was the associate head coach and running backs coach at the University of Alabama. A coach with stints at Mississippi State and Penn State, he has gained the reputation of being one of the top recruiters in college football. Playing career Huff played at Hampton University, joining the football team as a walk-on fullback. Willie Author Taggart (born August 27, 1976) is an American football college coach. Southland Conference
The Southland Conference, abbreviated as SLC, is a collegiate athletic conference which operates in the South Central United States (specifically Texas and Louisiana). It participates in the NCAA's Division I for all sports; for football, it participates in the Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS).
