Lance Fuller
Lance Fuller (December 6, 1928 – December 22, 2001) was an American actor. Biography Born in Somerset, Kentucky, he worked as a contract actor for most of the 1950s with Universal-International. With many uncredited roles for the first few years of his Hollywood career, Fuller's first role was in ''Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man'' (1943). Fuller was featured (uncredited) in several movies into the 1950s, including ''Singin' in the Rain'' (1952). He co-starred in ''Cattle Queen of Montana'' with Ronald Reagan, in ''Apache Woman'' with Lloyd Bridges and was featured in Ed Wood's ''The Bride and the Beast'', and Universal's first color sci-fi film, ''This Island Earth''. He also appeared in '' The Other Woman'', ''The She-Creature'', '' Pearl of the South Pacific'' and ''God's Little Acre''. Somerset, Kentucky
Somerset is a home rule-class city in Pulaski County, Kentucky, United States. The city population was 11,924 according to the 2020 census. It is the seat of Pulaski County. History Somerset was first settled in 1798 by Thomas Hansford and received its name from Somerset County, New Jersey, where some of the early settlers had formerly lived. Somerset became the Pulaski County seat in 1802, and was incorporated as a city in 1887. A Civil War battle was fought in January 1862, at Mill Springs (now "Nancy") about west of Somerset, and a museum is at the site. A smaller battle was fought nearby at Dutton's Hill in 1863. In 1875 tracks for the Southern Railroad were completed and Somerset saw a population growth and an increase in industry. In the late 1930s and early 1940s, library services were provided by the pack horse library. ''The Rifleman'' is an American Western television program starring Chuck Connors as rancher Lucas McCain and Johnny Crawford as his son Mark McCain. It was set in the 1880s in the fictional town of North Fork, New Mexico Territory. The show was filmed in black and white, in half-hour episodes. ''The Rifleman'' aired on ABC from September 30, 1958, to April 8, 1963, as a production of Four Star Television. It was one of the first primetime series on US television to show a single parent raising a child. The program was titled to reflect McCain's use of a Winchester Model 1892 rifle, a historical anachronism, as the show was set in the 1880s, and customized to allow repeated firing by cycling its lever action. ''To Have and Have Not'' is a 1944 American romance-war-adventure film directed by Howard Hawks, loosely based on Ernest Hemingway's 1937 novel of the same name.
