Lan Marie Berg
Lan Marie Nguyen Berg (born 4 March 1987 in Oslo) is a Norwegian politician from the Green Party. She currently serves as an MP for Oslo since 2021 and as one of the party's deputy leaders since 2022. Berg previously served as Oslo City Commissioner for transport and the environment from 2015 to 2021, when she resigned following a confidence vote. Education Berg has a master's degree from the Center for Development and the Environment at the University of Oslo. Berg wrote her master's thesis on the use of solar power in a Kenyan village. Career Berg joined the environmental organisation Spire in 2009, and worked for the Oslo Mela Festival. She was also part of an environmental blog collective called "Grønne jenter" (English: Green Girls), part of a group of ten women who wrote about environmentally conscious fashion, food and lifestyle. Green Party (Norway)
The Green Party ( nb, Miljøpartiet De Grønne, nn, Miljøpartiet Dei Grøne, sme, Birasbellodat Ruonát, ) is a centre-left green political party in Norway. The party holds three seats in the Parliament of Norway (gaining 3.8% in the 2021 elections) and also has representation in municipal councils and county councils (gaining 6.8% in the 2019 elections). The Green Party advocates green politics, and has been described as centre-left by academics and voters. 2019 Norwegian Local Elections
Local elections were held in Norway on 9 September 2019. Voters elected representatives to municipal and county councils, which are responsible for education, public transport, health, and elderly care, and for the levy of certain taxes. The local election was the first since the consolidation of municipalities and counties, reducing the number of counties from 19 to 11, and number of municipalities from 429 to 356. Despite the formal date of the mergers being 1 January 2020, the election proceeded with the new borders and divisions as the term of office began the same day. The political parties in four municipalities in Finnmark county (Alta, Karasjok, Kautokeino, and Loppa) cancelled all their campaigning following a helicopter crash in Alta on 31 August. Oppegård
Oppegård is an area in Nordre Follo, Viken, Norway. Oppegård was a municipality in the former county Akershus. It is part of the traditional region of Follo. The administrative centre of the municipality was the village of Kolbotn. The municipality of Oppegård was separated from the municipality of Nesodden on 1 July 1915. Oppegård municipality had an area of , hence it was the smallest municipality in Akershus by area. On 1 January 2020, Oppegård municipality was merged with Ski into the new Nordre Follo municipality. Within Oppegård, there is an epynomous village. Name The municipality (originally the parish) is named after the old ''Oppegård'' farm (Old Norse: ''Uppigarðr''), since the first church was built here. Hanna Elise Marcussen (born 4 September 1977) is a Norwegian politician for the Green Party. She currently serves as Oslo’s City Commissioner for Urban Development. Career She served as national spokesperson for the Norwegian Green Party in the years 2008–2014. She was also elected as a deputy member of Oslo city council in 2011 and 2015. In November 2012, she lost a fight against Rasmus Hansson for the top spot on the party's ballot for the 2013 Norwegian parliamentary election. She instead got the top spot on the party's ballot in Rogaland in February, 2013. Hansson was elected in Oslo, and Marcussen failed to win a Rogaland seat.
