Lamin N. Dibba
Lamin N. Dibba (died 14 November 2020) was a Gambian politician who was the Minister of Agriculture in Adama Barrow's cabinet from 9 July 2018 to 15 March 2019. He previously served as Minister of Lands and Regional Government from 2017 to 2018. Early life Dibba was a native of Salikenni in Baddibu, in The Gambia. Political career Dibba was an executive member of the United Democratic Party. He was their propaganda secretary, and was imprisoned in 2016 alongside Ousainou Darboe and others. Dibba was appointed as Minister of Lands and Regional Government in February 2017. In August, he told reporters that land was a very critical matter in the West Coast Division, due to rural-urban migration. He also said he was working with UNDP to create a mapping strategy for naming streets and numbering houses across the entire country. Adama Barrow
Adama Barrow ( ff, 𞤀𞥄𞤣𞤢𞤥𞤢 𞤄𞤢𞥄𞤪𞤮, Aadama Baaro, born 15 February 1965) is a Gambian politician and real estate developer who has served as President of the Gambia since 2017. Born in Mankamang Kunda, a village near Basse Santa Su, he attended Crab Island Secondary School and the Muslim High School, the latter on a scholarship. He then worked for Alhagie Musa Njie & Sons, a Gambian energy company, where he became a sales manager. Moving to London in the early 2000s, Barrow studied for qualifications in real estate and concurrently worked as a security guard for Argos. After returning to the Gambia in 2006, he founded Majum Real Estate and was the CEO until 2016. He became the treasurer of the United Democratic Party, an opposition party, and then became party leader in September 2016 after the previous leader was jailed. Amadou Sanneh
Amadou Sanneh is a Gambian accountant and politician who was Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs in President Barrow's cabinet from 1 February 2017 to 15 March 2019. A former national treasurer of the United Democratic Party, Sanneh was sentenced to five years imprisonment in December 2013 for his role in supporting an asylum application. He was released by presidential pardon on 30 January 2017. Career Sanneh is a trained accountant, who served as Accountant General of the Gambia for some time. He has also operated a private firm called A. A. Co. In June 2008, he testified as a witness in Kanifing Magistrates' Court, in a case involving a clerk accused of stealing money. In 2010, he worked as the auditor general for the National Agricultural Research Institute (NARI). ʿUmar ibn al-Khaṭṭāb ( ar, عمر بن الخطاب, also spelled Omar, ) was the second Rashidun caliph, ruling from August 634 until his assassination in 644.
