Lamar Nelson
Lamar Delmarro Nelson is a Jamaican footballer who plays for Arnett Gardens F.C. in the top-flight Jamaica National Premier League. He is also known as "Wanka". Club career Nelson started his senior career at Arnett Gardens F.C. In 2013, Nelson signed with Waterhouse FC in the RSPL. After an extended layoff due to knee surgery, in June 2015, Nelson returned to Arnett Gardens. The National Premier League, also known for sponsorship purposes as the Red Stripe Premier League, is sanctioned by the Jamaican Football Federation as the top division for men's association football in Jamaica. Contested between 12 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with Jamaica's regional Super Leagues where the two lowest placed teams are relegated to their corresponding local second division league. 2012 Caribbean Cup
The 2012 Caribbean Cup was the 17th edition of the Caribbean Cup, an international football competition for national teams of member nations affiliated with the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) of the CONCACAF region. The final stage was hosted by Antigua and Barbuda. The tournament determined the four Caribbean teams that qualified for the 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup. Originally the competition's final round was to be scheduled for June and July however it was delayed. The title was won by Cuba for the first time. Qualification The first and second rounds were scheduled for August and September, and October respectively. The draw for the qualifying round was made in March 2012.
