''Lalla vinner!'' (Lalla Wins!) is a Norwegian drama film from 1932. It was directed by Erling Bergendahl and George Schnéevoigt, and it starred Lalla Carlsen, Odd Frogg, and David Knudsen. Plot A lottery win means that the kitchen maid Lalla can check into a classy seaside hotel and pretend to be a consul. George Schnéevoigt
George Schnéevoigt (born Fritz Ernst Georg Fischer; 23 December 1893 – 6 February 1961) was a Danish film director, cinematographer, and actor of the 1910s to early 1940s. Schnéevoigt was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, on 23 December 1893 to the Finnish-born photographer and actress Siri Schnéevoigt, and Hermann Friedrich Fischer. He was the father of photographer Alf Schnéevoigt. Early life When Schnéevoigt was 14 years old he traveled with his mother to Berlin as a result of his parents divorce, there he took his mothers last name. Already in his school years Schnéevoigt had developed an interest in acting. He trained as a photographer and studied with actress Tilla Durieux and actor Ludvig Hartau. Jens Holstad
Jens Holstad (January 30, 1889 – October 6, 1961) was a Norwegian actor. Holstad was born in Kristiania (now Oslo), and he made his stage debut in 1906 at the Fahlstrøm Theater. He made his film debut in 1912 in Adam Eriksen's film '' Anny – en gatepiges roman''. He was most active in the 1930s and 1940s, and he appeared in a total of twelve film roles, with his last in ''Ti gutter og en gjente'' in 1944. Alongside films, Holstad was also active in theater, where he was involved with the New Theater from the 1920s to the 1950s. He also performed at the National Theater in Oslo. Holstad also recorded gramophone records. Ulf Selmer
Ulf Selmer (December 10, 1885 – September 24, 1961) was a Norwegian actor and painter. Selmer was the son of the actor Jens Selmer (1845–1928) at the Christiania Theater and his wife, the actress Eleonora Josephine Nielsen (1850–1930), whose stage name was Leonora Selmer. Selmer debuted at the Central Theater in 1904; he was in the National Tour () traveling ensemble of Ludovica Levy (1856–1922) for one year before he was at the Fahlstrøm Theater for one year. In 1911 he moved to the newly opened Trondheim National Theater, where he remained until 1918. This was followed by three years at Chat Noir and one year at the National Theatre in Oslo before he returned to the Central Theater, where he celebrated the fortieth year of his acting career in 1944. Marie "Maja" Hedemark (March 24, 1873 – August 8, 1959) was a Norwegian actress. Family Hedemark was the daughter of the teacher Emil Bernhard Olsen (1842–1897) and Severine Mathilde Heidenstrøm. She was born in Kristiania (now Oslo), Norway. She married the actor Hans Ingi Hedemark on December 23, 1905. Career Hedemark made her debut at the Fahlstrøm Theater in 1899 under the name ''Marie Heiden'', a name derived from her mother's maiden name. Harald Schwenzen
Harald Schwenzen (18 May 1895 – 16 April 1954) was a Norwegian actor and director. Born in Glücksberg, Germany, he relocated to Norway where he made his stage debut at Nationaltheatret in 1918, and played for this theatre for many years. Schwenzen was known for playing lead roles such as ''Don Carlos'' and ''Peer Gynt''. He made his debut as a film actor in 1920 in Victor Sjöström's film adaptation of Hjalmar Bergman's ''Mästerman''. Schwenzen was script writer and director for the 1922 film adaption of Knut Hamsun's '' Pan''. In 1929, he played a leading role as a lawyer Sadolin in the Norwegian film Laila.
