Lalbir Chaudhary
Lalbir Chaudhary ( ne, लालबिर चौधरी) is a Nepalese politician and father of Resham Lal Chaudhary, the founder of Nagrik Unmukti Party. He was elected in 2022 from Bardiya 2 to the House of Representatives. Though being a member of Nagrik Unmukti Party, Chaudhary had to contest election as independent after his son's candidacy was denied. Pratinidhi Sabha
The Pratinidhi (the Viceroy) was an important member of the ministry in the Maratha Empire. The title of ''Pratinidhi'' means ''the representative of the King,'' and such officials were entitled to sign and seal papers and to issue orders in the absence of the Ruler. Shivaji's ministry of the eight - the Ashta Pradhan did not include a Pratinidhi. Later the post of Pant Pratinidhi was created during the Rajaram I reign and a person holding this office exercised powers over all ministers of the Maratha court including the Peshwas. Resham Lal Chaudhary
Resham Lal Chaudhary, also Resham Chaudhary, is a Nepali former member of Parliament who has been sentenced to life in prison for his role in orchestrating and carrying out the 2015 Tikapur massacre. He is currently serving his sentence. Role in 2015 Tikapur massacre Resham Chaudhary was one of the principal leaders of a series of protests in Kailali opposing the proposed administrative demarcations in the new constitution. On August 24, the protest unexpectedly turned into a lynch mob targeting police personnel throughout the city. Seven police officers were killed. The attacks were carried out by people wielding household weapons. One of the victims was burned alive. A toddler, aged two, was also killed in the violence.
