Lakeside High School is an accredited public high school in Chicot County, Arkansas, United States. It is located on Highway 82 just west of Lake Village. Within the state, the school is referred to as Lake Village or Lakeside Lake Village high school to distinguish itself from Lakeside High School in Hot Springs. Lakeside High School is administered by Lakeside School District and serves roughly 400 students in ninth, tenth, eleventh and twelfth grade. Academics The assumed course of study follows the Smart Core curriculum developed by the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE). Lake Village, Arkansas
Lake Village is a city in and the county seat of Chicot County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 2,575 at the 2010 census. It is located in the Arkansas Delta. Lake Village is named for its location on Lake Chicot, an oxbow lake formed by the Mississippi River. History According to legend, the remains of Spanish explorer Hernando de Soto might be buried under Lake Chicot. His expedition visited ''Guachoya'', a native village along the edge of the lake, which is recorded as the site of his death (list of sites and peoples visited by the Hernando de Soto Expedition). Lakeside High School is a public high school located in Hot Springs, Arkansas, United States. The Garland County school was founded in 1928. Beaver
Beavers are large, semiaquatic rodents in the genus ''Castor'' native to the temperate Northern Hemisphere. The Arkansas Activities Association (AAA) is the primary sanctioning body for high school sports in state of Arkansas. AAA is a member association of the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFSHSA). Every public secondary school in Arkansas is a de jure member of the AAA, and most private schools, save for a few schools in the delta that belong to the Mississippi Private Schools Association and 22 Christian schools who belong to the Heartland Christian Athletic Association , are included in membership. The Arkansas Activities Association, or "AAA," was founded in 1904 by seven high schools and colleges and was called the "Arkansas State Athletic Association."
