Lakeshore Soccer Club is a Canadian semi-professional soccer club based in the Montreal suburb of Kirkland, Quebec. The club competes in the Ligue de Soccer Elite Quebec after playing in the Première Ligue de soccer du Québec from 2015-16. History The club was originally founded in 1966. The club was originally set to join the Première Ligue de soccer du Québec for the 2012 season as one of the founding members, although that did not occur. They eventually joined the PLSQ for the 2015 season. They had a successful inaugural season, finishing in second place in the league, one point behind champions CS Mont-Royal Outremont, while also winning the League Cup, defeating Mont-Royal 4-2 in extra time. They did not return to the league for the 2017 season due to administrative constraints. Bill Sedgewick
William Sedgewick (born February 11, 1971) is an American former professional soccer player who played both indoors and outdoors. College Born in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, Sedgewick attended Westminster College in Salt Lake City, graduating in 1994 with a degree in business finance. Player In May 1994, Sedgwick turned professional with the Portland Pride in the Continental Indoor Soccer League, playing two seasons with Portland. In 1995, he moved to the Chicago Power of the National Professional Soccer League. He later played for the Edmonton Drillers, Montreal Impact and Rochester Rhinos. He returned to the Impact in 2006 for one season, on loan from the California Cougars. Club Soccer Mont-Royal Outremont is a Canadian semi-professional soccer club based in the Montreal boroughs of Mount Royal and Outremont. Since 2013, the club has competed in the Première ligue de soccer du Québec. Their women's team has competed in the women's division of the PLSQ since 2019. History In 2013, the club joined the Première ligue de soccer du Québec, a Division III league, fielding a team in the men's division. During their inaugural season, they won both the League title and the League Cup. They once again finished as league champions in 2015 and 2016. Gabard Fénélon (born 3 June 1981) is a Haitian footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Canadian club CS Mont-Royal Outremont. Early years Fénelon was born in Tortuga (Île de la Tortue), a small Haitian island in the northwest of the country. At the age of fourteen, his football talents led him to Port-de-Paix, a major city adjacent to Tortuga, inland of Haiti across the coast to develop his skills. Having been significantly better than his peers his own age, he was played against players who were older. Arriving as a striker, his position was changed to goalkeeper at age sixteen at the regional level. Kevin Dean Chan-Yu-Tin (born 11 July 1990) is a Mauritian former footballer who plays as a midfielder. International career Chan has been involved at youth level making an appearance for the Canada U-17 National Team at the 2006 CFU Youth Cup. Jonathan Beaulieu-Bourgault (born September 27, 1988) is a Canadian former professional soccer player who plays as a defensive midfielder. Career Born in Montreal, Quebec, he helped FC St. Pauli gain promotion from the Regionalliga Nord to the 2. The 2015 Première ligue de soccer du Québec season is the fourth season of play for the Première ligue de soccer du Québec; the highest level of soccer based in the Canadian province of Québec and one of two Division 3 semi-professional soccer leagues in the Canadian soccer pyramid (the other being League1 Ontario). The season began on 2 May 2015 and ended on 18 October 2015, with the cup final taking place on 24 October 2015. CS Longueuil was the defending champion from 2014.
