Lakeshore Entertainment Group, LLC is an American independent film production, finance, and former international sales and distribution company founded in 1994 by Tom Rosenberg and Ted Tannebaum (1933–2002). Lakeshore Entertainment is headquartered in Beverly Hills, California. The company produced over 60 films, including the Academy Award-winning '' Million Dollar Baby''. Sigurjón Sighvatsson was the company's first president and served from its founding until 1998. He was replaced by producer Gary Lucchesi. The company also had a record label division, Lakeshore Records. In 2013, the company launched a television division, and in 2015, they launched a digital studio, Off the Dock, that targets the YouTube demographic. Grandaddy
Grandaddy is an American indie rock band from Modesto, California. The group was formed in 1992, and featured Jason Lytle, Aaron Burtch, Jim Fairchild, Kevin Garcia and Tim Dryden, until Garcia's death in 2017 following a stroke. After several self-released records and cassettes, the band signed to Will Records in the US and later the V2 Records subsidiary Big Cat Records in the UK, going on to sign an exclusive deal with V2. The bulk of the band's recorded output was the work of Lytle, who worked primarily in home studios. Grandaddy released four studio albums before splitting in 2006, with band members going on to solo careers and other projects. ''Bandwagon'' is a 1996 American film by writer/director John Schultz, starring Lee Holmes and Kevin Corrigan. Production Writer/director John Schultz used to drum for independent band The Connells but left them early on to start a filmmaking career. ''Bandwagon'' was not only the first feature film for Schultz but for a lot of the crew members as well. Schultz said, "On the shoot, we didn't really realize what we were doing right and what we were doing wrong and a lot of the problems we found in the editing room." The film was made in 1993 in Schultz's hometown of Raleigh, North Carolina and took six weeks to complete.
