Lakers du Lac Saint-Louis was a Canadian women's semi-professional soccer club based in Lachine, Montréal, Quebec that played in the Première ligue de soccer du Québec. History The club was formed by the Association Régionale de Soccer du Lac St-Louis to participate in the newly formed women's division of the Première ligue de soccer du Québec, taking the regional approach, rather than to have one of their member clubs form a team. Patrick Viollat was named the club's head coach. The team had a disappointing season finishing in last place. The Première ligue de soccer du Québec (PLSQ) is a semi-professional soccer league created in 2012. The Quebec Soccer Federation operates both men's and women's divisions at the pro-am tier of the Canadian soccer league system. Lachine () is a borough (''arrondissement'') within the city of Montreal on the Island of Montreal in southwestern Quebec, Canada. It was an autonomous city until the municipal mergers in 2002. Club Soccer Mont-Royal Outremont is a Canadian semi-professional soccer club based in the Montreal boroughs of Mount Royal and Outremont. Since 2013, the club has competed in the Première ligue de soccer du Québec. Their women's team has competed in the women's division of the PLSQ since 2019.
