Mansfield Independent School District is a school district headquartered in Mansfield, Texas, United States. MISD serves Mansfield and portions of the cities of Grand Prairie, Arlington, and Burleson. A small portion of Cedar Hill, Fort Worth, Kennedale, and Rendon also lie within the district (only in nearby areas). A few Fort Worth and Kennedale residents are zoned mainly to go to Tarver-Rendon Elementary School, and a few Cedar Hill residents are zoned to go to Danny Jones Middle School and Mary Lillard Intermediate School. Mansfield is a suburban city in the U.S. state of Texas, and is part of the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex area. The city is located mostly in Tarrant county, with small parts in Ellis and Johnson counties. Russell National School Lunch Act (79 P.L. 396, 60 Stat. 230) is a 1946 United States federal law that created the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) to provide low-cost or free school lunch meals to qualified students through subsidies to schools.
