Lajos Májer (14 August 1956 – 11 March 1998) was a Hungarian professional footballer who played as a forward. Career Club career He spent the majority of his career at Videoton, where he reached the 1985 UEFA Cup Final. International career Májer was capped three times for Hungary. He made his national team debut on 17 April 1976 in a friendly against Yugoslavia, a 0–0 away tie. Sárbogárd (german: Bochart) is a town in Fejér county, Hungary. The town is at the intersection of important railroad routes in Hungary: this is where electrified routes from Balaton and Pécs merge with non-electrifed railways from Baja and Szekszárd. The Ferenc Puskás Stadium ( hu, Puskás Ferenc Stadion), or formerly People's Stadium (''Népstadion'') was a multi-purpose stadium in the 14th district (Zugló) of Budapest, Hungary. It was situated between the Puskás Ferenc Stadion and the Keleti pályaudvar metro stations. It was used mainly for football matches. The stadium, which was an all-seater, in the 2000s had a safe capacity of 38,652, though its original capacity exceeded 100,000. The stadium was closed in 2016 and demolished in 2017 to give place to the Puskás Aréna. United States Men's National Soccer Team
The United States men's national soccer team (USMNT) represents the United States in men's international soccer competitions. The team is controlled by the United States Soccer Federation and is a member of FIFA and CONCACAF.
