Power Station
A power station, also referred to as a power plant and sometimes generating station or generating plant, is an industrial facility for the generation of electric power. Power stations are generally connected to an electrical grid. Many power stations contain one or more generators, a rotating machine that converts mechanical power into three-phase electric power. The relative motion between a magnetic field and a conductor creates an electric current. The energy source harnessed to turn the generator varies widely. Most power stations in the world burn fossil fuels such as coal, oil, and natural gas to generate electricity. Xinyuan Aluminum Power Station
Xinyuan County () as the official romanized name, also transliterated from Uyghur as Künas County (; ), is a county in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region and is under the administration of the Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture. It contains an area of 7,581 km2. According to the 2002 census, it has a population of 290,000. The county is served by Xinyuan Nalati Airport. Name The county's original name Künes was changed into Xinyuan in 1946 after the county established its seat on the Künes River upstream. "Xinyuan" means "New Headstream" in Chinese. Shandong Energy Group Co. Ltd. () is a state owned coal-mining company headquartered in Jinan, Shandong, China. It is among the seven largest Chinese coal companies. The group was created in March 2011 by merging six existing coal mining companies. These companies included Xinwen Mining Group, Zaozhuang Mining Group, Zibo Mining Group, Feicheng Mining Group, Linyi Mining Group and Longkou Mining Group.
