Lago Alberto Assembly
The Lago Alberto Assembly was a Chrysler Corporation automobile factory in the Nuevo Polanco district of Miguel Hidalgo borough, in northwestern Mexico City, Mexico. It was built during the 1930s and built Dodge trucks and the Plymouth Savoy. The factory was idled in 2002, with production shifted to the Saltillo Truck Assembly. Nuevo Polanco (English, "New Polanco") is an area of Mexico City formerly consisting of warehouses and factories, bordering the upscale Polanco on the north across Avenida Ejército Nacional. Miguel Hidalgo, Mexico City
Miguel Hidalgo is a borough (''demarcación territorial'') in the Mexico City. It was created in 1970 when central Mexico City was divided into four boroughs. Miguel Hidalgo joined the historic areas of Tacuba, Chapultepec and Tacubaya along with a number of notable neighborhoods such as Polanco and Lomas de Chapultepec.
