Karl Lagerfeld
Karl Otto Lagerfeld (; 10 September 1933 – 19 February 2019) was a German fashion designer, creative director, artist and photographer. He was known as the creative director of the French fashion house Chanel, a position held from 1983 until his death, and was also creative director of the Italian fur and leather goods fashion house Fendi, and of his own eponymous fashion label. He collaborated on a variety of fashion and art-related projects. Lagerfeld was recognized for his signature white hair, black sunglasses, fingerless gloves, and high, starched, detachable collars. Early life Lagerfeld was born on 10 September 1933 in Hamburg, to Elisabeth (née Bahlmann) and businessman Otto Lagerfeld. His father owned a company that produced and imported evaporated milk; while his maternal grandfather, Karl Bahlmann, was a local politician for the Catholic Centre Party. Otto Lagerfeld
Otto Christian Ludwig Lagerfeld (20 September 1881 – 4 July 1967) was a German businessman, who in 1919 founded the German company Lagerfeld & Co, which imported evaporated milk. He was the son of a wine merchant from Hamburg, Tönnies Johann Otto Lagerfeld (1845–1931) and his wife Maria Wilhelmine Franziska Lagerfeld (née Wiegels) (1848-1936). He was married to Theresia Feigl (1896-1922) in 1922; they had a daughter Theodora Dorothea "Thea" Lagerfeld (1922- circa 2007). His first wife died the same year of their marriage. He remarried to Elisabeth Josefa Emilie Bahlmann (1897–1978), daughter of the Catholic Centre Party local politician Heinrich Maria Karl Bahlmann, and they were the parents of Martha Christiane "Christel" Lagerfeld (1931-2015) and of fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld (1933-2019). Steven Lagerfeld is the former editor of ''The Wilson Quarterly'', the flagship publication of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, which he led from 1999 until winter 2014. Lagerfeld was born in New York City and received a bachelor's degree from Cornell University in 1977. Before joining the editorial staff of ''The Wilson Quarterly'' in 1981, he was assistant managing editor of ''The Public Interest''. He was named editor of the WQ in 1999, replacing Jay Tolson. ''Resonance of Fate'' is a role-playing video game developed by tri-Ace and published by Sega for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It was released in January 2010 in Japan and March 2010 in Western territories.
