Bob Lagassé is a Canadians, Canadian provincial politician, who was elected as the Member of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba for the riding of Dawson Trail (electoral district), Dawson Trail in the 2016 Manitoba general election, 2016 election. He is a member of the Progressive Conservative party. Lagassé pulled off a surprise upset victory, by defeating two high-profile candidates to earn the nomination in the constituency. Louis Lagassé (born December 14, 1947) is a Canadian businessman, notary, investor, and philanthropist. In 2004, he was made a member of the Order of Canada, Canada's highest civilian honor. Lagassé is best known for founding several companies including C-MAC Industries, CELL Foods Inc., Media5 Corporation, MSBI Capital Inc and Mediatrix, a software production company and advanced IP telephony equipment production company. The 1989 New Democratic Party leadership election was held in Winnipeg, Manitoba, from November 30 to December 3 to elect a leader of the New Democratic Party of Canada. Ed Broadbent retired as federal leader, and Audrey McLaughlin was elected as his replacement. Scott Lagasse Sr. (pronounced LAG-a-say) (born February 20, 1959) is a former race car driver. He has competed in multiple series, most notably the NASCAR Winston Cup Series. Racing career SCCA Beginning in 1985, he became the first driver to earn Novice, Regional and National License all in the same season. More impressive was winning the SCCA National Championship in his very first season of racing. Scott went on the following season to capture the SCCA National Championship again as well as winning an SCCA PRO Title. Scott E. Lagasse Jr. (; born January 31, 1981) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He formerly drove in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. He is the son of former sports car and NASCAR driver Scott Lagasse Sr. He is the owner of Scott Lagasse Racing (TeamSLR), which is located in St. Augustine, Florida.
