Gordon Lafer
Gordon Lafer is a political economist writer who has served as Senior Labor Policy Advisor for the U.S. House of Representatives' Committee on Education and Labor and has a history of Labor Union activism. He has written widely on labor and employment policy issues and is the author of the books ''The Job Training Charade'' and ''The One Percent Solution''. He is currently a professor in the Labor Education & Research Center at the University of Oregon and a research associate of the Economic Policy Institute. Johann Lafer (born September 27, 1957, in Sankt Stefan im Rosental, Styria, Austria) is an Austrian chef living in Germany. Johann Lafer became well known through his TV cooking show and his numerous cookbooks. His television show is self-produced. He was a regular guest of the television host Markus Lanz, in whose show he regularly prepared meals in front of an audience. He lives with his wife Silvia and two children Jennifer and Jonathan in a little village called Guldental. He also operates a cooking school in Guldental. Lafer acts as a pilot in his Helicopter dining program. Celso Lafer (born August 7, 1941) is a Brazilian jurist, full professor of Philosophy of Law at University of São Paulo, twice former foreign minister and a former commerce minister. He is of Lithuanian Jewish heritage. Education Lafer has a Bachelor in Law from University of São Paulo, a Master's and a Ph.D. in Political Science from Cornell University and a habilitation in Public International Law from University of São Paulo. Work Lafer worked for the administrations of Fernando Collor de Mello as Foreign Minister and for Fernando Henrique Cardoso as Foreign Minister and Commerce Minister.
