Lady Apache
Sandra González Calderón (born June 26, 1970) is a Mexican professional wrestler or ''luchadora'', best known under the ring name Lady Apache. As Lady Apache, González has mainly worked for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) and AAA, Mexico's two largest professional wrestling promotions during her career, switching back and forth several times. González's ring name came as a result of her marriage to Mario Balbuena González who wrestled under the name Gran Apache. Through her marriage to Gran Apache, she was the stepmother of Faby Apache and Mari Apache, both professional wrestlers. González's second husband was Jesus Alvarado Nieves, better known as ''Brazo de Oro''. Her third husband, Edgar Luna Pozos, is generally known under the ring name Electroshock. Gran Apache
Mario Balbuena González (April 16, 1959 – May 7, 2017) -- better known under the ring names Gran Apache and El Apache -- was a Mexican ''luchador'', or professional wrestler and trainer. Balbuena worked for AAA / Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA) since 1996, both as a wrestler and a trainer. He was involved in training almost all young wrestlers who worked for the promotion during that period of time. Two of Balbuena's four daughters—Faby Apache and Mari Apache—followed him into a professional wrestling career. His second wife also became a professional wrestler under the name Lady Apache. Balbuena and his family were part of a long-running "Telenovela" style storyline that also included Faby Apache's then-husband Billy Boy as well as their son, referred to as "Marvin Apache". AAA Reina De Reinas Championship
The AAA Reina de Reinas Championship (literally "AAA Queen of Queens Championship", "AAA Women's Championship") is a singles women's professional wrestling championship promoted by Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA). It is the only females championship currently in AAA. Being a professional wrestling championship, it is not won legitimately; it is instead won via a scripted ending to a match or awarded to a wrestler because of a storyline. From its creation in 1999 to 2009, the title was put on the line every year during the eponymous "Reina de Reinas" tournament, in addition to traditional defenses. The tournament eventually returned in 2012, with Sexy Star becoming the first wrestler to successfully retain the title at the event. A ''torneo cibernetico'' is a multi-man professional wrestling elimination match that was created and primarily used in Mexican ''lucha libre'' professional wrestling promotions, especially in Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). The match format sees two teams of varying sizes face off against each other. It uses standard ''lucha libre'' tag team rules with elimination occurring with a pinfall, submission, disqualification and count out and allows a wrestler to enter the match when their tag team partner exits the ring as well as when they tag out. A special 'batting' order system is used in which the wrestlers are given a specific order and may only tag in and out in this order. Lola González
María Dolores González (born March 2, 1959) is a Mexican professional wrestler, known by her ringname Lola González, who has competed in the Universal Wrestling Association and the World Wrestling Association for over three decades. At one time one of the most popular female '' tecnicos'' in Mexico, she dominated the UWA World Women's Championship during the mid-to late 1980s holding the title a record four times. Bull Nakano
is a Japanese retired professional wrestler and professional golfer better known as . She began competing in All Japan Women's Pro-Wrestling (AJW) as a teenager under the ring name Bull Nakano. As a wrestler she was a villain, who often teamed with her mentor Dump Matsumoto. In Japan, she held several of AJW's singles and tag team championships. After being phased out by the company in the early 1990s, she traveled to North America, where she first competed in Mexico's Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), becoming its first World Women's Champion. The Mexican National Women's Tag Team Championship (Spanish: ''Campeonato Nacional Femenil de Parejas'') is a Mexican national tag team professional wrestling championship that is run exclusively for female wrestlers. The championship is sanctioned and controlled by the ''Comisión de Box y Lucha Libre México D.F.'' (Mexico City Boxing and Wrestling Commission), and is currently promoted by Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre Co., Ltd. (CMLL; , "World Wrestling Council") is a ''lucha libre'' professional wrestling promotion based in Mexico City. A wrestling mask is a fabric-based mask that some professional wrestlers wear as part of their in-ring persona or gimmick. Professional wrestlers have been using masks as far back as 1915 and they are still widely used today, especially in Lucha Libre in Mexico. History At the 1865 World's Fair, Theobaud Bauer debuted the mask, wrestling as "The Masked Wrestler" in Paris, France. He continued wrestling using the mask throughout France as part of a circus troupe in the 1860s before moving on to the United States in the early 1870s. Lucha De Apuestas
Lucha libre (, meaning "freestyle wrestling" or literally translated as "free fight") is the term used in Latin America for professional wrestling. Since its introduction to Mexico in the early 20th century, it has developed into a unique form of the genre, characterized by colorful masks, rapid sequences of holds and maneuvers, and "high-flying" maneuvers, some of which have been adopted in the United States, Japan, and elsewhere.
