Ladner Exchange
The Ladner Exchange is a major transit exchange in the community of Ladner within the city of Delta, British Columbia. Opened on November 24, 1978, it is the primary transit hub for South Delta, serving as a terminus for all but two routes and includes connections to SkyTrain stations in Richmond and Surrey. There is a 200-space park and ride and kiss and ride adjacent to the exchange. Structure and location The exchange is located off-street near the major intersection of Ladner Trunk Road and Highway 17A, providing for easy access for both buses and drivers alike. Delta is a city in the Lower Mainland region of British Columbia, Canada, as part of Greater Vancouver. The Ladner Leisure Centre is a recreation centre in Ladner, a community in Delta, British Columbia. The facility contains an ice rink and two swimming pools, a six-lane 25-metre competition pool and a wading pool for casual use. Scott Road Station
Scott Road is an elevated station on the Expo Line of Metro Vancouver's SkyTrain rapid transit system. The station is located near the south end of the Pattullo Bridge in the South Westminster neighbourhood of Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. Scottsdale Exchange is a bus loop located in the Strawberry Hill neighbourhood of Newton in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. Bridgeport is an elevated station on the Canada Line of Metro Vancouver's SkyTrain rapid transit system. It is located in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada, south of Vancouver. Double-decker Bus
A double-decker bus or double-deck bus is a bus that has two storeys or decks. They are used for mass transport in the United Kingdom, the United States, New Zealand, Europe, Asia and also in cities such as Sydney; the best-known example is the red London bus, namely the AEC Routemaster. Early double-deckers put the driver in a separate cab. Passenger access was via an open platform at the rear and a bus conductor collected fares. Modern double-deckers have a main entrance door at the front and the driver takes fares, thus halving the number of workers aboard, but slowing the boarding process. Highway 17A is a long route connecting Highway 99 and Highway 17; this route was originally numbered Highway 17 between these two points but the numbering was altered once the South Fraser Perimeter Road neared completion (on December 1, 2012).
