Luca Ladner (born 26 April 1989) is a former footballer from Switzerland who played as midfielder. Career Ladner began his career 1996 at FC Engstringen where he played for five years before joining Grasshopper in March 2001. After six years with Grasshopper he joined city rivals Zürich in July 2007. He won his first appearance in the AXPO Super League on 23 July 2008 in a match against Lucerne. William Henry Ladner
William Henry Ladner (November 28, 1826 – November 1, 1907) was an English-born miner, farmer and political figure in British Columbia. He represented New Westminster from 1886 to 1890 in the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia. Life Ladner was born in Cornwall, the son of Edward Ladner and Sarah Ellis. In 1848, he emigrated to Mineral Point, Wisconsin where his father had arrived earlier with other Cornish miners. After his father died in 1851, Ladner and his brother Thomas Ellis travelled to California to mine for gold. In 1858, they headed north and joined the rush to the newly discovered gold fields in the Fraser River canyon in British Columbia. Ladner was named a constable for the region. In 1865, with partner Robert Thompson Smith, he was involved in transporting goods to the Big Bend region on the Columbia River. Wendell Ladner
Wendell Ladner (October 6, 1948 – June 24, 1975) was an American professional basketball player most notable for his playing time in the American Basketball Association (ABA) from 1970 to 1975. Ladner was born in Necaise Crossing, Hancock County, Mississippi and played high school ball at Hancock North Central High School in Kiln, Mississippi. After attending the University of Southern Mississippi, Ladner went undrafted in the 1970 ABA draft where he played five seasons with five different teams in the ABA, from 1970 to 1975.
